When the principals of ADT Security acquired an 8,000 square foot through-floor space in the Caxton Building, they retained Fifield Piaker Elman based on the quality of work already completed in the Caxton as part of a fourteen million dollar building-wide restoration for the building owner. For their New York City offices, ADT needed a flexible space that would accommodate a staff of fifty-five persons across all department areas, including sales, purchasing and system design. By restructuring space within the old printing press building, FPE was able to incorporate dedicated managerial offices, conference areas, huddle rooms and a bullpen.
