First Phase of Energy Conservation Related Improvements Completed

Earthplace, the Nature Discovery Center located in Westport, Connecticut has completed phase 1 of energy conservation related improvements recommended in  the facility study performed by FPE Architects in 2009. Work included the installation of a new reflective insulated roof and window replacement. Future improvements planned among other are the installation of a green roof and PV array. FPE will be assisting Earthplace in acquiring  LEED O & M certification for the facility.
