FPE Architect’s lobby renovation was the centerpiece of a building-wide renovation for this 12-story office building located in SoHo’s Cast Iron District. FPE crafted a modern lobby featuring a sculptural, perforated, aluminum-dropped ceiling, with complementary perforated Canadian maple wall panels. FPE also installed a new concierge desk and elevator cabs. Understated terrazzo flooring and a stone base balance the sculptural quality of the ceiling and desk. The success of the lobby, as well as an updated building core and new windows, enabled the owner to capitalize on the surge of rental rates in this sought-after neighborhood.
